This is another build for my buddy who I did the Sazabi for.
My new innovation in model building is using plastic sushi trays to sort parts. It’s working well.
Here are all the black and gunmetal pieces that I’ve painted so far. 
I started on the red pieces. They’re getting a nice candy coat. For the candy coat I’m starting with Tamiya gunmetal, then Alclad pale gold followed by Tamiya clear red. There’s a lot of pieces to do, so I’ll do them in batches and leave them to dry for quite a while before fitting as that candy coat can be a little delicate.
